You can expect the latest massive Triple AAA titles such as Mafia III or Watch Dogs (these two not confirm yet but just a hunch) to have Denuvo or any other kind of DRM.
So if these latest games are having Denuvo, then it is obvious that the Denuvo will be of the latest version.
The same applies to FIFA 17 and PES 17! They both got released in the same month and they both have Denuvo DRM and the latest version of it obviously.
So I doubt that it will be less troubling for crackers out there.
But anyways, slowly, slowly (but right now very fast) Denuvo protected games are getting patched. So I think it's a matter of time before we see a new game here.

I really hope so my friend. We never got to play Fifa 16 and many Fifa lovers (myself included) moved to PES side. An equally (the last two years) good game.
Mafia III, Watch Dogs 2, PES/FIFA 17, Just Cause 3 all seem to have a high level of protection.
I hope we get to play these games soon as well as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and God Eater 1 & 2 (if nosTEAM decides to add them to his list).
BTW Mirror's Edge is an addictive game. Better than the first. This along with Quantum Break should keep us busy until the games I mentioned above, become available here.

I dont know if im supposed to ask it here but,
Ive downloaded this game from here (like i do 3 years now) but this game isnt launching, ive installed everything good and Ive check if theres a missing file twice and everything is good.
My pc can run this game.
Does anyone know what should i do to fix the game?
I run this game as Administrator but nothing shows up, tried changing the compatibility to win 7 and 8 but nothing works.
game just doesnt launching at all. the only thing that happpens is the circle of loading on my mouse point but only for 2 seconds.

Don't change Compatibility, try to add your folder location "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" folder of course to the exception list in your Anti-virus because what you describing does not give any information to help you so I assume your AV is showing a false positive for few files in the Folder of the installation.

Is anyone able to launch the game at all? Game's not launching for me, I just get a black screen. Installation was fine, I also installed the patch, and My PC is more than adequate to run the game. I've also tried disabling anti-virus, didn't work. Any tips?

It uses up almost all of my memory (I have 32GB) like crazy for a few minutes then gradually goes down to about 3-4 MB, the game's CPU use remains at 15%-ish. Nothing happens at all, just a black screen forever like you see there. Adding exception to antivirus, disabling antivirus, using compatibility, I tried those and nothing works...
