Thank you Nosteam!!! It works, i had an issue last night while installing the patch but i put in INSIDE the south park folder, works like a charm! (:
 Sometimes it lags or freezes but i think it's on my end!

Hi, first time posting on the site.

Just gonna put down my experience first in case some people are having trouble with the installation: downloading the full game on the first page, as of this writing, only gets you a 50 mb avi file and a torrent for the full game, which anyone can find on TPB. After finishing the download, the EXE file didn't work for me, but fortunately the three winRAR files were enough to install. Other than that, the installation was smooth.

Game didn't have bugs or anything when I first played through it. There wasn't any black screen, no glitches, nothing. So I switched over to Full Screen and matched the game's resolution to my computer's. The only issue I had was the first toilet minigame at the beginning, where my "Y" key wasn't working after I held two other keys down. Solution that worked for me was to just release the other two keys while pressing the Y key at the same time.

However, after playing for about three hours, I shut down the game to take a rest and do other things. I came back to it about an hour later, and now I'm encountering the "black screen" problem after the part where you "Press Enter to Start" to enter the main menu. I hear the background music and I can move the mouse cursor, but that's just about it. I have tried the Alt+Enter method countless times. I have also tried the part where you raise the game's priority level to "High" via the Task Manager. I have also tried a method where I changed my computer's resolution to whatever's smaller than the in-game resolution (in hopes of getting the black screen to go away). None of that worked.

I hope you guys have a solution for me. I'm out of ideas. At this point, I'm considering a fresh reinstall, but even if that worked, I don't know if that'll keep the black screen from appearing again. D: I'd really appreciate the help.

Hello, I have some problems with this game. The game crashes when I do either of these 2 things: a) When I stay too long browsing costumes from my inventory. b) When a battle takes too long. I've been stuck fighting the same boss for 2 days now and I really want to beat him. The constant crashing is happening even though I have the patch. I'd like to note that I used the Nvidia settings to set some things for the game (you know how in the Nvidia graphics settings you can choose performance over quality and vice versa? Well I put mine on performance and selected the Fractured but Whole exe file. Without it the game would lag even at low settings). Is there a fix for this constant crashing? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello guys, my game doesn't launch. I've tried everything, but it doesn't start: there isn't the black screen and it doesn't give me an error message. So I checked Windows Log and the problem is the error 0xc0000005. One month ago, I downloaded Stick Of Truth and it worked, but now it has the same problem of The Fractured But Whole, so it isn't a problem of my PC specifications.
How can i fix this?

when i first install the game i can play but save is not working i am keep getting error "save Fatal error" so i patched the game "

but after that i am keep getting black screen (game opens fine game says press enter to start when i press enter screen goes black i can hear game sound and i can see mouse noting happens only black screen ) so i restarted my pc now game says press enter to start when i press enter i get error "Load fatal error " . so i deleted game and reinstall but i am keep getting same "Load fatal error " please help

hit Alt+Enter to make game windowed then change Video settings in game

- Update your video card driver,
- install all required software listed on game topic ,
- disable User Account Control ,
- make sure your antivirus is not blocking game files (add game folder to Exceptions),
- install update patch ,
- Run game as Administrator

I got the same problem, did all the same and still doesn't work.
The process appears on task manager but it rapid disappears.
No black screen, no crash message.

I've followed the steps and downloading the game properly but my game doesnt have any sound at all. I've redownloaded the game 2 times and it hasnt had any sound at all but it runs normally. Help pls

If anyone is having launch problems after changing the in game resolution to 1080p, change windows res to 720p and the game should launch back into 1080p without a problem. That launch work around worked for me anyway.
