i've downloaded crysis 2 from another place long ago, but it only had the multiplayer option. this one got the story or is it only mp?

Installed the patches and crashes when i try to change my resolution

I installed Crysis 2 and here is my problem.
Game starts normally. You see the menu, hear the sound, everything.
Start a new game. There is no sound. The game is running you can see everything, control the player, everything, but no sound.
I did install install patch but still, same.
Tried to check the volume settings in game, normal.
Tried changing sound settings in control panel => hardware and sounds => sound => speakers => advanced
This was my setting 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)
Tried the last one that I saw and the first one but still the same. I think this has nothing to do with the game but I still tried.

system using "windows 7 32bit".

I do have the sound in the menu like I said. But not in game.

How to install:
After download is done:
- open part1 (executable file) as Administrator ,
- choose location ,
- click install ,
- wait until is done
- play game from desktop shortcut.
